You have full ownership of your data. You can request deletion of your Polzet account and all associated personal data at any time either directly in the app or by submitting a web support request.
Restore your account at any time within 30 days simply by logging back in.
Profile, polls, votes, comments, and media are permanently purged from active systems.
Uninstalled the app? Request deletion by emailing our support team directly.
You can request account deletion using either of the following methods:
STEP 01
Sign in to your Polzet account on the web platform or mobile application.
STEP 02
Click on your profile avatar or menu, then go to Settings → Account Privacy.
STEP 03
Scroll to the Delete Account section and click 'Delete My Account'.
STEP 04
Enter your current account password to securely verify identity and submit the deletion request.
If you have already uninstalled the Polzet app or are unable to log in, you can request manual deletion by sending an email from your registered email address to our data protection team:
Recipient: support@polzet.com (or contact@polzet.com)
Subject Line: “Delete My Polzet Account and Data”
Details to include: Your registered Polzet username, email address, or phone number used during signup.
1. Immediate Deactivation: Once you confirm the deletion request, your Polzet account is immediately scheduled for deletion. Your profile, polls, and comments are immediately hidden from all other users.
2. 30-Day Recovery Window: You have a 30-day grace period to restore your account. If you change your mind, simply log in to Polzet using your existing credentials within 30 days to cancel deletion and restore your account data.
3. Permanent Purging: After the 30-day recovery window expires, your account and all eligible associated personal data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted from our primary databases.
When your deletion request completes, the following data categories are permanently purged:
Your username, display name, biography, avatar photo, banner cover image, and account handle.
Registered email address, linked phone number, password credentials, and third-party authentication tokens (Google/Facebook/Apple).
All questions asked, poll options created, attached images, videos, and custom poll configurations.
All votes submitted across polls, public comments, replies, likes, reactions, and saved/bookmarked posts.
Active authentication sessions, device tokens, and push notification subscription data.
In accordance with privacy regulations and Google Play Data Safety policies, certain minimal records may be retained strictly where justified:
Records retained to satisfy applicable legal, statutory, or regulatory compliance mandates and tax laws.
Aggregated security logs and abuse prevention hashes to protect our community against severe harassment or ban evasion.
Residual copies in routine encrypted system backups, which are automatically overwritten and purged within standard backup rotation cycles (up to 30 days).
